Professor Dr. Minesaki Hiroko Visits Jamia Ahmadiyya International

Professor Dr. Minesaki Hiroko, Ph.D. who is on a research tour of Ghana these days is a distinguished cultural anthropologist from Japan with extensive research in the fields of religion and culture. Her first introduction & journey with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community began after witnessing the humanitarian efforts of Humanity First in Japan following the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake.
Since then, she has visited various Ahmadiyya missions and institutions around the world, including in the UK, Canada, and Pakistan as a researcher. Her recent visit to Ghana included a tour of the Mission House Accra, Raqeem Press Tema, MTA Africa studios, Ahmadiyya Schools, Hospitals & Jamia Ahmadiyya International Ghana, an institution for training Ahmadiyya missionaries who serve across the globe.
At Jamia, Professor Minesaki was taken on a guided tour of the campus, showcasing its numerous departments, including the library and the recording studios. She also had a chance to observe how modern technology, such as book readers are used in Jamia for teaching.
She also had the opportunity to meet students from diverse countries, learning about their unique backgrounds and aspirations. During her visit, she engaged with some students in Arabic, reflecting her expertise and interest in the languages and cultures. She had a detailed meeting with Ahmadi women and girls in the evening and spent a good time with them. She will return to Japan after attending the Jalsa Salana Ghana at Bagh e Ahmad, Gomoa Pomadze near Winneba in the Central Region of Ghana.
