Jalsa Salana Ghana 2025

With the grace of Allah, the 92nd Jalsa Salana of the Ghana Jama’at commenced on Thursday, 9th January 2025. This spiritually uplifting event brought together participants eager to deepen their faith and understanding of peaceful Islamic teachings.

Students of Jamia Ahmadiyya International, Ghana, attended the Jalsa and were given the opportunity to recite the Holy Quran, Nazms, and Songs of Praise during the three-day proceedings. In addition to the students, many graduates of Jamia Ahmadiyya International, Ghana, were assigned the important task of delivering dars and Speeches during the Jalsa.

One of the highlights of this year’s Jalsa was the attendance of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the newly elected President of Ghana. He attended the first session of the Jalsa and addressed the attendees, commending the Jama’at for its efforts in promoting peace and unity in the world.

The students were also entrusted with various responsibilities in different departments of the Jalsa. These duties included welcoming and serving esteemed guests, managing stage-related activities, handling special protocol tasks, ensuring security throughout the Jalsa, providing medical assistance at the clinic, preparing food in the Jalsa Kitchen, managing the exhibition for the Review of Religions, and creating content for Al Hakam.

Among the attendees of Jalsa, were distinguished guests from Ghana, including Chiefs and Imams of other Islamic sects, as well as prominent foreign guests such as the Ameer of Nigeria and Benin. Additionally, delegations from Ghana’s neighbouring countries and a guest from Japan also attended the Jalsa. Most of these foreign guests took time to visit the campus of Jamia after the Jalsa ended.

May Allah reward the sacrifices of all participants and volunteers and enable them to continue serving the Jama’at with unwavering commitment.
